In this blog, I will be discussing multiple subjects that I have found appealing while learning about my discourse community. presenting basic knowledge to the audience about the discourse community and what pubic goals do they have.

  • The goal’s of each business regardless its size or personal goal is developing wealth, by doing so they have to provide a good or a service to the consumers.
  • The business marketing industry focusses on campaigning its product to a targeted group of consumers.

learning more about discourse communities and adapting to some of their norms, can help the audience connect more with their own discourse communitties. to add on, readers get to see different strategies that the business marketing industry uses and can use some of these strategies in their everyday day life.

  • Strategies such as the B2B approach and what kind of accommodations do businesses do to each other verses B2C (business to consumer)
  • Consumer relationship management and how does it affect the whole marketing strategy of a business which eventually leads to customer loyalty.

I will talk about what kind of quialifications and license does a person need and to what positions do these qualifications apply to.

About me

A business specialist that works for apple who focuses on hero products and tracks the monthly goals of each product. A former apprentice in a multi-chain restaurant, who promotes the marketing of the restaurant and finds new ways to promote the business.

A former business administrator intern at the “concept art house” in San Fransisco CA which gave me the experience of writing legal paperwork, this also allowed me to work closely to the finance department and see the budget that the company can use towards marketing. This internship also helped me develop many skills such as leadership and becoming a team player. getting to experience this position as an intern helped me understand more about the business marketing industry. It showed me that in order to work in the marketing industry, you have to know who you are targeting. This empowered me to attend seminars by famous entrepreneurs that influenced many people from our generation. people such as Dave Ramsey, who emphasized on all 7 types of budgeting forms. Tony Robbins and his seminar about business mastery skills.

Job opportunities and positions.

The business marketing industry offers many job oppurtunitres since its a very broad field in the economy. job titles such as public relations specialist, product marketing manager, social media marketer are very famous in that specific feild. however, today I will talk about becoming a operational business expert since this position requires marketing skills, business skills and financial skills.

Requirements needed to become an Operational business expert.

Although many jobs need a license after the bachelors degree such as the CPA or having an MBA. the role of an operational business expert does not require that many licenses or degrees. in order to become a BOE you only need a;

  • bachelors degree in either business administration, economics or international relations
  • at least one year of experience selling in the business market, which is not hard to achieve. Since interning or working as a sales specialist in any company counts.
  • having outstanding communication skills and presentation skills. that can be established by experiencing basic entry to a business sales position in any retail store. since that position has a lot of interaction with customers and strengths the sales specialist with their commutating skills.

Lets take a step back..

With students graduating and looking for jobs, there are many things that they need to prepare for before graduating;

  • looking for an internship that is related to the marketing field such as; business administration intern, analytics specialist, project coordinator or a simple sales position could set the students to graduate and fulfill their one year of experience in selling in the business market.
  • students should also attend seminars and meetings that are provided by the discourse community, shows like the “specialty food association” where all businesses from the discourse community meet in one surrounding and market each other’s products.
  • students should attempt to attend a carrier fair that the business marketing industry has to offer. carrier fairs on campus and events on facebook allows the students to expand their acquaintances. to add on, students should always ask their professors for a opportunity to shadow some of their work.
  • students should also have built their linkedIn by the time they have graduated. by building their LinkedIn they would have created connections with people from the business discourse community and from different discourse communities.

Basic terms that you need to know..

After applying to become an operational business expert, and having the right resources to apply to the position, there are some marketing terms that people need to be aware of while being interviwed to the job. terms such as;

  • B2B vs B2C- these strategies should be known for any specialist since they need to be aware that setting the prices for a business is different than. setting the prices to a consumer. The business will make more money selling the good to a consumer and will develop a better relationship if they sell to a business.
  • the Customer relationship management-A software that specialist need to know about. this software helps the business specialists to organize all their marketing activities and the sales trends, this includes the storing of the customers contact information the CRM also helps track emails, it also stores the marketing records. this helps the speacilist better connect with the customer which therefore creates a positive relationship between the. business and. the customer.
  • Digital marketing- to simplify, digital marketing is online marketing that targets a specific audience. this type of marketing. is found through emails and social media platforms. there are many ways marketing speacilists target a specific audience, based on the product, marketing specialists create a trailer that hooks the specific audience based on their age, color preferences and simplicity

The Bitcoin Industry

The bitcoin market is one of the most used markets in the business industry. The bitcoin currency was introduced in 2009 by a group of unknown people who decided to find an alternative for cash and use “digital cash” which made bitcoin the most important cryptocurrency in the market. The business industry values the bitcoin market since it has achieved the purpose of the business industry with a staggering achievement compared to other cryptocurrencies in the market. the bitcoin had a value of 386 dollars. back in 2009, but with the right amount of marketing and the limiting of the supply of the crypto currency, the bitcoin’s value rose to the roofs. The purpose of the the bitcoin market and any other business industry is to create wealth from providing a good or a service. the bitcoin industry has achieved this goal in December of 2017 when it reached the peek of the industry was was able to secure a value of 21 thousand dollars per cryptocurrency.

The bitcoin is a very interesting topic for the readers. it grabs the attention of the young investors, entrepreneurs and stock investors. that’s why the experts of bitcoin industry needed use a specific genre to grab the attention of those targets. many reliable resources use articles to write about bitcoin. the articles are used to introduce the content to the reader in a simple way. the articles introduce a brief. summary of the subject. matter, and then it dives into a specific area and addresses it by using bullet points, references, or pictures which accommodates and targets a major audience.

Authors use other platforms to address the topic of bitcoin. Academic journals are another way that authors communicate with the audience through. Academic journals have a more serious tone in writings, the vocabulary is more advanced, the length of the paper is longer, most of the time is peer reviewed and uses many references. The academic journals tend to be more reliable since it is peer reviewed by members of the discourse community. The academic journals tend to target a very specific audience compared to the articles.

Reports are another way that authors can connect to the readers. Reports tend to use statistics and data to compose a hypothesis.the purpose of the data set is to present either improvement or deterioration over a certain period of time. Reports tend to have a table of content which breaks down the content that the author will discuss in sub categories. in the report the author attempts to prove their hypothesis rather than talking about the topic its self.

The Experts You Need To Know..

After discussing multiple ways the authors can connect with their audience, let’s talk about those authors a little. The first author is. called James Dennin. Dennin. is the Innovation editor at Inverse, an American media company that covers hot topics such as technology and innovations. Dennin had a history of being a consumer finance editor for Mic, which was. another internet media company. Dennin believes that the cryptocurrency market in general is not as efficient compared. to different markets in the industry. “The cryptocurrency market and bitcoin market in particular are less efficient than traditional markets” (Dennin,2019) Dennin also mentions that the marketing or using social media is affecting the value of the bitcoin negatively. with very limited supply of bitcoin, Dennin argues that promoting it gets consumers to buy more of it. which in the long run is bad for the business. Dennin affects non members of the discourse community more than the members of the discourse community. since he was using simple words and was introducing the topic, this allowed him to target the audience outside the discourse community.

The next author talks about the bitcoin through peer reviewed texts which is presented in an academic journal. Mai Feng, is an assistant professor who graduated with a bachelors of mathematics from Wabash college, which late on took his masters in  Statistics, in Miami University. Later on he decided to dig deeper into the field and took a PHD in Operations, Business Analytics and Information Systems. In the journal, Feng talks about twitter and how twitter as. a platform has marketed the topic if bitcoin enough to generate the wealth that the company desires. Feng affects members of the discourse community in a positive way. since Feng uses specific terminologies and jargons that only members of the discourse community could understand.the audience relates to the content Feng presents and trusts the statement presented since the paper was reviewed by members of the discourse community its self. however, Feng affects nonmembers of the discourse community in a negative way, with the sophisticated vocabulary used in. the paper, Feng discouraged non members to read the paper since the would not have a clue or have a hard time comprehending the content that. Feng presented.

Reports that use statistics and data to prove a a hypothesis is used by Nick Rojas, a journalist who writes about small businesses and helps them to manage their social media marketing and focus on key points. Rojas talks about how bitcoin attributes its marketing through reddit, this contradicts the past paper of Feng since he mentioned that twitter attributes the most social media marketing for the bitcoin industry.however, Rojas stated that the market. for the bitcoin industry is rising through the marketing of the use of social media. and the targeting of the audience through a specific platform. Rojas targeted both members and non members of the discourse community. Since Rojas presented a introduction of the topic, he gave the readers some content for them to look back at. he later dived into the issue and presented a data to support his idea which targeted the members of the discourse community since they could better comprehend the hypothesis of Rojas.
